Sometimes I’m still concerned with my outer beauty. I worry about growing older and being unattractive.

But I’m only beginning to realize that my beauty isn’t degrading down into nothing. Rather, my beauty is growing, thriving. It is the most beautiful thing just to watch it. As you might have guessed, or perhaps not, I’m no longer referring to my outer beauty, here. I’m nurturing my inner beauty—the inner child. The true self that is creative, young, and full of joy.

I want to continue to see that inner self as the beauty—not my skin or my looks.
